Jinja RRH Hosts Regional Stakeholders to Strengthen Joint Health Planning and Budgeting
Jinja, Uganda – Jinja Regional Referral Hospital is hosting a two-day meeting at Jinja City Hall, bringing together health leaders and other stakeholders from across the region to discuss how to better plan and use available health funds to improve services in hospitals and health centres.
The engagement, running from 14–15 October 2026, focuses on strengthening coordination between Local Governments and Regional Referral Hospitals, aligning work plans and budgets, and ensuring that available resources are used effectively to improve healthcare delivery.
The engagement is financially supported by the Government of the United Kingdom, through the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), a health development partner.
By promoting joint planning and budgeting, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and ensure that health sector priorities are better coordinated and resources directed towards improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services across the region
