The Ministry of Health through the National Fistula Program shall conducts routine fistula and perineal repair camps at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital in a bid to address the big fistula case burden backlog arising from limited fistula surgeons in the country.

To address this need, the Ministry of Health will conduct five-day fistula camp with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) through the STOP project funded by the Embassy of Iceland. The camps have been scheduled alternately to be held at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital in the months of July, September and November 2024 at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
